Terms of Use

Codmir provides a unified project management and quality assurance platform that includes:

• Ticket tracking and project management tools
• Live dashboards and analytics
• Release health monitoring
• QA execution and testing workflows
• Team collaboration features
• SMS/text message notifications for account and project activity

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Codmir's services.

By creating an account or using our services, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years old
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• You are not prohibited from using our services under applicable laws

This age requirement is necessary because our platform incorporates AI services from third-party providers (including Anthropic's Claude) that require users to be 18 years or older. If we discover that a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate their account.

To access certain features of our service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and complete information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

You agree not to use our service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt our services
• Use our service for competitive analysis or benchmarking

By creating an account on Codmir and providing your phone number, you agree to the following SMS/text messaging terms:

• Phone Number Requirement: During registration, you are required to provide a valid phone number for account verification purposes. This is a mandatory security measure to protect your account and our platform from unauthorized access and abuse
• Consent: By providing your phone number and completing registration, you expressly consent to receive transactional SMS messages from Codmir at the phone number you provide. These messages include account verification codes (one-time passwords), security alerts (e.g., new device logins, password changes), project status updates, task completion notifications, and missed call summaries. You are not required to consent to SMS messaging as a condition of purchasing any goods or services
• Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your account activity, up to approximately 10 messages per month
• Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Codmir does not charge for sending SMS messages, but your mobile carrier may charge standard messaging fees
• Opt-Out: You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by texting STOP to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent unless you opt back in. You may opt back in by texting START or re-enabling SMS notifications in your account settings at any time
• Help: For help, text HELP to any message you receive from us, or contact support@codmir.com, or call +1 (650) 600-6920
• No Marketing: SMS messages from Codmir are strictly transactional and account-related. We will never send promotional, advertising, or marketing messages via SMS
• No Sharing: Your phone number, SMS opt-in data, and SMS consent status will never be shared with, sold to, or provided to any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your phone number and messaging data
• Supported Carriers: SMS messaging is supported on all major U.S. carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages
• Program Name: Codmir Account Notifications

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect customer data and will continue to refine those safeguards as Codmir evolves. Even with reasonable measures in place, no system is entirely immune from accidental disclosure, and you acknowledge and accept that inherent risk when using the service.

• You release Codmir from liability for inadvertent exposure of data that occurs despite our commercially reasonable safeguards, except where prohibited by applicable law.
• Codmir will never sell your personal or project data to third parties, and any sharing is limited to service providers acting on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
• Creating an account—including through OAuth or other federated sign-up flows—constitutes your automatic acceptance of the then-current version of these Terms and the accompanying user-protection waiver.

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

• You Own Your Data: All project data, tickets, documents, and content you create belongs to you
• Storage Responsibility: You are responsible for your data storage. You may either pay codmir for storage or export and store your data elsewhere
• Data Export: You can export your data at any time in standard formats
• Data Preservation: We will make reasonable efforts to preserve your data, but you should maintain your own backups
• Third-Party Storage: Some data may be stored with third-party providers under strict confidentiality agreements
• We implement industry-standard security measures
• We provide transparency into how we handle and process your information

Understanding "Free Forever" and Usage-Based Pricing:

• Free Access: Access to the Codmir website, platform, and core services is free forever. This includes account creation, basic features, and platform access
• Usage-Based Costs: While access is free, you pay separately for actual usage of resources including but not limited to: storage, compute/execution, AI processing, API calls, and bandwidth
• "Free Forever" Clarification: When we state "free forever" during onboarding or marketing, this refers specifically to platform access, not resource usage. Usage costs are billed separately based on consumption
• Transparent Billing: All usage costs are clearly displayed in your account dashboard before and after consumption
• No Hidden Fees: You will never be charged for usage without clear visibility into what you are consuming
